Why is my Helmet Wonky?
The asymmetry of our Stormtrooper Helmets remains a relatively obscure fact. When the mouldings were initially created by Andrew, there were no CNC machines or AUTO CAD, and even Velcro was a novel concept. It's quite astonishing how anything was accomplished back then. The original mould was fashioned by hand and comprised of two main parts. However, when Andrew first made the moulds, the helmet did not fit together. Given the limited time available (only two days) before the helmets were required, he resorted to shaving off one side until the moulds produced a helmet that fitted together. And thus, the original unsymmetrical helmet was born.
How do I put my Helmet on?

Before beginning, adjust the helmet's inner padding to its most forward position. Remove any glasses or headgear, as the close fit of a Stormtrooper helmet typically doesn't accommodate them comfortably. For those with long hair, it's advisable to secure it with a tie or cover it with a slim skull cap or balaclava to avoid entanglement within the helmet.

To put on the helmet, tilt it sideways to slide it over your head. Once on, realign the helmet to its proper position. Move your head in various directions to confirm clear visibility and comfort, ensuring no specific areas exert undue pressure. If required, modify the placement of the padding, shifting it closer to the helmet's front to elevate the helmet slightly away from your face.

Can I have alterations made to my Armour?
Our armour Accommodates various body dimensions – typically a waist 38” 97cm and below, 5’6” to 6’2” (165-185cm) with various build types. However, if you are outside these dimensions, you only need to contact us when you order and we can make alterations to suit you your needs, just let us know your waist and hight and we can make any alterations. We also offer after sale support so if you armour does not fit you correctly parts can be returned for trimming and adjustment as required.

Returns
Our return policy is as simple - if you're not completely satisfied with your Shepperton Design Studios purchase. Just reach out and we'll make sure your return is as smooth as a laser sword through butter! But if you do live a bit far far away you might have to pay return postage.

However, we hate to be the bearer of bad news, our warranty doesn't cover accidental damage, so please, no actual laser sword duels with your Shepperton Design Studios gear. But if you do find yourself facing unexpected battle damage, we pride ourselves on our ability to fix just about anything, from broken blasters to malfunctioning droids. But unfortunately, we haven't yet mastered the art of doing it for free, but don't worry, our team is always happy to help in any way we can, so feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
